Join ODAAT as we provide emergency relief and a continued rebuilding effort to the people of Haiti.
The mission of the One Dome At A Time Foundation is to build green and clean “dome” housing, which is resistant to natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes and fires, and qualifies as “Near-Absolute Protection” as defined by Federal Emergency Management Agency. We have affordable technology that can minimize disasters such as that which has just occurred in Haiti and change lives. Haiti has had fifteen natural disasters in the past nine years, a pattern that will continue. One Dome at a Time has been planning with Former Haitian Prime Minister Michelle Duvivier and the Chief of Economics of Haiti Dr Jean Palème Mathurin to create “dome” building project in Haiti since last year. The need for this is now stronger than ever.
The organization is committed to preserving family and local traditions while supporting education and economic growth in the communities they serve. The patented dome building method uses less materials to build, less energy to heat and cool, can be built by local labor and last for hundreds of years. The foundation does not just build housing but an entire community including a school, health center and church.
Help give those in need the security of a dome home. Our foundation is committed to doing it One Dome at a Time.
